"NPC's", is the general term used to describe any none playable character found within the game. The range of what an NPC within Ether Saga ranges from simple text to providing quests.

  • NPC's: The term NPC stands for Non Playable Characters. Within Ether Saga there near hundreds of NPC's that interact with the players on a daily basis. They have been generated and provided to you by the Ether Saga Online computer system that generates the online game. These None Playable Characters will have distinct features and defining looks to them as they are spread over the map and game. Though an NPC's traits can range from simple text, to providing an Adventurer with more tasks. The NPC will be an unbiased character you will encounter around Ether Saga.


  • Standard NPC Within Ether Saga you will encounter many standard NPC's that have been programmed to speak a certain saying or dialogue every time you try to communicate with one. To the common adventure these are not often cared for, as computer played character it provides nothing but a simple action. As for other NPC's found within Ether Saga have many more appealing features and functions. Though some other NPCs tend to fall under this category after you complete quests for them, or reach a certain point where they are unable to provide you with the function they had for you once before.


  • Quest NPC These None Playable Characters are the highlight and often most spoken to characters within Ether Saga. These animated characters not only speak to you with a phrase or two, they also provide an adventure with an option to select a quest. These characters are easily spotted and seen for they display numerous marks and expressions above there head. In Ether Saga a NPC that has a standard quest will have a blue tome hovering above there head. A Quest NPC that has a Training Quest or Adventure Quest will have a gold tome above there head. While A gray tome hovering above a Quest NPC's head means that you have not met conditions for obtaining the quest. As well as providing numerous other remarks as a silver scroll that provides the players with the knowledge of insufficient completion of the quest, while a blue or golden scroll reveals the player has completed the quest.


  • Vending NPC's The common term to sell and buy items within Ether Saga is known to be called Vending. As players are capable of buying & selling their items as are NPC's. These NPC's have the feature to buy any non-bound item at a specific price listed at the bottom of the item or sell there specific set of goods. These NPC's often have a spefic or unique name to identify them within Ether Saga. As the potion seller at any given location is marked upon the Preset Destination List as Apothecary, as well as any Blacksmith, Stash Keeper, Hunter and so on as they provide goods to the adventure. Players can often purchase items from NPC's with bronze/silver/gold & treasure. The currency of Ether Saga being bronze, silver and gold. While treasure is a unique currency system awarded from training quests that certain venders accept.
